I had some feelings while painting this thing. Feelings like, oh god I am going to be a pet portraiture painter what am I doing with my life. The artists I admire most are John Waterhouse and Arthur Rackham and Maxwell Parish, and here I am painting my mother’s cat.
Well, you have to please yourself sometimes. Pet portraiture is fun. So there, pre-raphaelites.
